, abuse, mental health, feelings of loss and loneliness and women's r
ights. With ''poyums,'' she won the 2024 Scots Book of the Year – a

y is very readable, so it's perfect if you're new to reading poetry
but also if you're a poetry afficionado.

What is the
event?

This first session, we will read some poems toget
her from the first half of Len Pennie's poetry collection. Don't worr
y; you don't need to prepare anything! We select some poems and bring
them with us. At 4 PM, there is a short walk-in with coffee and tea
(and cookies!). When we've settled in, we'll start with a brief intro
duction of the poet, poetry and the theme. Then, we'll dive in and re
ad and discuss the poems; what strikes you? What do you like or don't
you like? We'll share, exchange thoughts – and around 5:30 PM, we
will close the session.

Where is 3D?

You ca
