In this course, you learn the basics of how you can take care of your research data. We w ill address aspects like storage, archiving, publishing, documentatio n and how to keep your data secure. 

The course is ai med at PhD students at the beginning of their research project (± 1s t year) from:

The main output of t he course is a Data Management Plan (DMP) for your project. If you ha ve a DMP already, you can continue working on this existing DMP. If y our existing DMP is complete, specific and up-to-date, there is a pos sibility to do an alternative assignment.

The course consists o f 2 online workshops and 1 online peer review session. Please make sure that you are able to participate in all thre e events.
