On 8 Septe mber we are hosting a lunch session for everyone interested in CSL at VU: "CSL presents: A Broader Mind in Practice". Together we explore how Community Service Learning can make your course A Broader Mind-pr oof, and how you can challenge students to contribute to societal iss ues that truly matter.
The session consists of a short plenary introduction, followed by expert perspectives from colleagues at VU w ho are already working on societally engaged education. After that we get to work together, moving toward a practical roadmap you can take straight back to your own course.
You will leave with concrete ideas and building blocks for societally engaged education, a first step toward a personal course roadmap, and new connections with colle agues who share the same ambition.
