This is the fourth e vent of the "What about Palestine" series, organised by Ant hropology Students and Staff for Palestine, in which Annelies Moors ( University of Amsterdam) will present her new book Doing Ethnogr aphy: Institutional Surveillance and the Struggle for Epistemic Diver sity (2026).
She will, in particular, explore how her long-term immersive research in Palestine has impacted on the writin g of this book and reflect on the entanglements of fieldwork and poli tical engagement. What do recent developments in research management mean for the future of ethnographic practice? How can ethnography con tribute to addressing global epistemic injustices?
