Artificial intelligence is no longer sim ply transforming how we work: it is reshaping organisations, institut ions, and societies. As AI systems increasingly influence decision-ma king, coordination, communication, and knowledge creation, the challe nge is no longer solely technological. It is profoundly human, social , and political.
Marking the Reshaping Work's tenth anniversary , this special edition of the conference will reflect on a decade of research, dialogue, and collaboration on the future of work while loo king ahead to the opportunities and challenges emerging at the inters ection of AI, work, and society. Through high-level keynotes, interdi sciplinary discussions, and forward-looking debate, participants will examine how AI can be governed and deployed in ways that strengthen human capabilities, democratic values, and societal well-being.
Under this year’s theme, The Human Frontier, the conference moves beyond narrow discussions of automation and efficiency to address som e of the most pressing questions of our time: the future of work and occupational identity, algorithmic management and workplace governanc e, AI’s impact on democracy and economy, the transformation of heal thcare, and the institutions and policies needed to navigate technolo gical change responsibly.
