  will experience connected breathing, a guided breathing technique th

 p> <p>During this session you will get acquainted with connected brea
 thing, a breathing technique in which the inhale and exhale flow into
  each other without a pause. This way of breathing can help release t
 ension, calm the nervous&nbsp;system&nbsp;and increase body awareness
 . For some&nbsp;people&nbsp;it may also&nbsp;bring up&nbsp;emotions t
 hat usually receive less space.&nbsp;</p><p>The afternoon begins with
  an arrival meditation in which you can gently settle into your body 
 and the space. After that there will be&nbsp;a short explanation&nbsp
 ;of connected breathing. A certified breath coach will then guide the
  connected breath session itself.&nbsp;</p><p>After the breathing&nbs
 p;experience&nbsp;there will be time to lie down and allow the experi
 ence to integrate. We will close with a short sharing moment where pa
 rticipants can share what they experienced.&nbsp;</p><p>The session w
 ill take place on March 31 from 4:00 to 5:30 PM in a room next to the
  Mindful Library on the twelfth floor of the VU library.&nbsp;</p><p>
