The next annual National Open Science Festival will be held on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, this time at TU Delft. Here, researchers and other interested parties can learn more about open science, exchange experiences and find inspiration for ap plying open science in daily practice.
From Thursday, May 7 you can register as a participant. For participants, registration closes on ce the maximum capacity has been reached. After that, interested part ies can be placed on the waiting list. Note: register even if you hav e submitted a proposal.
From 2026 NWO and UKB will jointly award the annual Leo Waaijer s Open Science Prize. With this prize UKB, NWO and Open Science NL re cognize and appreciate initiatives that make an important, inspiring and sustainable contribution to the open science movement. The winner receives a cash prize in the amount of €50,000. The amount can be used to further strengthen the initiative or to set up a new initiati ve.
