 cal and regional dynamics of what has been happening in Gaza and the 
 surrounding regions since October 7th.</p><p>Erella Grassiani is the 
 director of the Amsterdam Centre for Conflict Studies at the UvA and 
 conducts research on, amongst other topics, the Israeli security indu
 stry and its effects on human rights worldwide.<br>Farid Boussais is 
 an assistant professor in Middle East politics at UvA and director of
  the Amsterdam Centre for Middle Eastern Studies. His work focuses on
  the intersection between history, economics and politics in the Midd
 le East and North Africa.<br>Pat Hynes works with the Glencree peaceb
 uilding NGO. He was a policy advisor to the Irish government during t
 he negotiations that led to the Good Friday Agreement, and in more re
 cent years has also worked on various peacebuilding initiatives in th
 e Middle East, including between Israel and Palestine.</p><p>This eve
 nt, organised by the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities is aim
 ing to engage in dialogue with one another and with experts on the is
 sue of Israel-Palestine.</p> </body> </html>

  The three panellists Erella Grassiani, Farid Boussaid and Pat Hynes
