Artificial intelligence is no longer simply transforming ho w we work: it is reshaping organisations, institutions, and societies . As AI systems increasingly influence decision-making, coordination, communication, and knowledge creation, the challenge is no longer so lely technological. It is profoundly human, social, and political.
Marking the Reshaping Work's tenth anniversary, this special edit ion of the conference will reflect on a decade of research, dialogue, and collaboration on the future of work while looking ahead to the o pportunities and challenges emerging at the intersection of AI, work, and society. Through high-level keynotes, interdisciplinary discussi ons, and forward-looking debate, participants will examine how AI can be governed and deployed in ways that strengthen human capabilities, democratic values, and societal well-being.
Under this year’ s theme, The Human Frontier, the conference moves beyond narrow discu ssions of automation and efficiency to address some of the most press ing questions of our time: the future of work and occupational identi ty, algorithmic management and workplace governance, AI’s impact on democracy and economy, the transformation of healthcare, and the ins titutions and policies needed to navigate technological change respon sibly.
