THE VRIJE UNIVERSITEIT AMSTERDAM PEACE & CONFLICT STUDIES CENTRE PRESENTS: Nobel Peace Prize Nomination Ceremony, in recognition of her service to peacebuilding in South Sudan: peace activist Alokiir Malual Aguer Diing.
The ceremony will take place on May 27th, from 15:00 to 17:00 (doors ope n 14:45) in HG2A-00 VU Main Building. The nomination is the annual ce ntrepiece of the activities our VU Nobel Peace Prize Committee, which consists of students from the master programmes in Political Science , and the Law and Politics of International Security, as well as the Minor in Peace & Conflict Studies.
We are overjoyed that Th e Most Reverend Thabo Makgoba Archbishop of Cape Town Anglican Church of Southern Africa will join us at the event.
