The VU and UvA are organizing a Software Carpentry workshop that wil l help programming novices to gain fundame ntal software skills. The Software Carpentry workshop is a 4-half-day , hands-on training that will cover basic programming like automation , data cleaning, and data visualization with R - everything you need to start your research programming career! The course finishes with a n example project and support to start using your new skills on your own projects.
