ABRI would like to invi te you to submit your (self-)nominations for the ABRI Excellence in B usiness Studies Awards 2025/2026. Please find the call for nomination s below.

At ABRI, we are proud to have a community of ambiti ous PhD candidates and faculty members who aspire to become leading r esearchers in their field of expertise. The ABRI Excellence in Busine ss Studies Awards aim to recognize the outstanding work of our talent ed junior colleagues and acknowledge their contribution to science, b usiness, and society.

ABRI is soliciting nominations for the ABRI Excellence in Business Studies Awards for papers that have b een published in 2025/2026 in two categories:

Best PhD S tudent Paper Award
Best Junior Faculty Paper Award

Eligibility Criteria

Papers nominated for the Best PhD Student Paper award need to capture original work by a PhD s tudent. While the nominated paper does not have to be part of the dis sertation, the PhD student needs to be the lead contributor, which im plies that the PhD student is listed as the first author.
P apers nominated for the Best Junior Faculty Paper Award need to have an ABRI junior faculty member (Assistant Professor or Post-doc) as th e lead contributor, which implies that they are listed as first autho r or corresponding author.
Nominated papers need to have be en published between 30.06.2025 and 30.06.2026 (publication in a jour nal issue as well as online-first publications will be considered).

Submission Procedure, Evaluation, and Award Announcement

Submit your nomination (self-nominations are accepted) online by J une 30, 2026, indicating if the research is nominated for the Ph D Student or Junior Faculty Award.
Upload a PDF copy of the nominated article with the nomination.
Prepare a brief mot ivation explaining why the nominated work deserves to be considered f or the award in terms of:
A jury consisti ng of members from all ABRI tracks will evaluate the nominations.
The winners of the award will be announced at the annual ABRI BBQ event.
