The VU University Library is here for everyone, and we want input from all corners of the VU community. That’s why we’re organizing sessions to give everyone the chance to share their ideas.
We’re especially looking for your thoughts on four key themes:
- Do you have ideas on how the library can become more of a true meeting place?
- Would you like to share your insights on artificial intelligence, and how it can strengthen our research and education?
- Are you passionate about accessible knowledge and Open Science initiatives?
- Do you have input for the ‘biblio’ in library? Which books, journals, or articles should we add to our collection?
Why are we having these sessions?
At the University Library, we’re currently working on our long-term plans for 2026–2030. Your input will help us make sure this plan truly reflects the needs and wishes of everyone in the VU community. We’d really love to hear what matters most to you!
The sessions will take place in the University Library offices (HG-1B41) and will be accessible in both Dutch and English. Of course, we’ll provide coffee, tea, and some snacks.
No registration is needed; everyone is welcome to drop by and join the conversation. Just make sure to mark 6 November in your calendar! Can’t make it that day? No problem, we're having another session on 11 November. See you soon at the library!
