Cognitive Linguistic methods are increasingly applied to study the language of the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament). A variety of these approaches have led to important insights for the analysis of Biblical Hebrew, especially with regard to the study of meaning. Scholars, students, and anyone interested in cutting-edge linguistic research on meaning and other aspects of Biblical Hebrew are invited to join this meeting and participate in the conversation. Register now and join us on campus or online!
The invited speakers are: Ian Atkinson, Reinier de Blois, Christian Locatell, Hanneke van Loon, Paola Mollo, Godwin Mushayabasa, Elizabeth Robar, Talia Sutskover, and Pierre Van Hecke.
This event is made possible by Network Institute, Vereniging Hebreeuws, and the section Religious Sources of the School of Religion and Theology.
