The World Water Day is an annual United Nations observance day held on 22 March in line with SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation. This year, the focus is on accelerating change through action to meet SDG6, which we are currently off-track to meet by 2030.
What are the key outcomes of the summit and which steps have to be taken now to meet SDG6? Our speakers, who are attending the event in New York, share their insights and reflections on the sustainable management of water, a resource that underlies many of our everyday activities as a society.
For those who would like to participate in the opportunity to unpack the results and dive in deeper, the Amsterdam Sustainability Institute organises a debrief of the conference as part of the lecture series SDG Academy.
On March 30, Thursday from 15.00 to 16.00h online at Zoom, with an introduction from ASI Director Prof dr Philipp Pattberg, researchers of VU Amsterdam Dr Jampel Dell'Angelo, PhD Candidate Dona Geagea and Master's Candidate Paulina Raniecka will share their reflections and discuss which roles stakeholders around the world have now.
