The AnimatieMaakMarathon is organized by VU CTL, the University Library, ROC Amsterdam and the national task force Open Educational Resources.
The main language of this event will be Dutch.
Animations can be used in many ways in education: to explain something, give students an assignment, compliment them on a 'job well done' or present your teaching team in a fun way with avatars. Digital learning environments often can do with a bit of color!
It's all the better if you make your animations in such a way that they can be useful to everyone. Think about content that teachers within the same discipline can use, about learning soft skills that all students need to master, a pitch to highlight your research or project or how to use a tool. And then share them openly, for example on YouTube.
Learn to optimize the use of animations
Last time, a hundred participants from institutions all over the country came together to learn about animations. This edition we will repeat this and even take it a step further. Learn during the workshops how to optimally use animations in your education and start creating or optimizing your own animations. Both beginners and advanced animators will be able to join.
