Nation-Building in the Age of Postcolonialism

Violence and Nonviolence: Nation-Building in the Age of Postcolonialism

This course will address the issue of non-violence in postcolonial nation-building through the lens of leaders and thinkers such as King, Helder Camara, Mandela and Kaunda, as well as reflections by Mbembe, Derrida and Fanon.

Our application deadline has passed, it is no longer possible to apply for this course. We will announce the courses in August 2023. Please leave your details to receive the announcement when we open registrations for VU Graduate Winter School 2024.
