Basic Dutch @ VU is a tailor-made language course especially for new international employees of VU Amsterdam. VU Amsterdam wants its employees to feel at home on the VU campus and in Amsterdam. That is why this language course teaches you the basics of Dutch and introduces you to the culture and customs of the Netherlands.
For 16 weeks you will attend classes on the VU campus. At home you will make assignments and practice your language skills. During the group lessons you will also get to know other international VU employees. Attention is paid to reading, speaking, writing and listening. We also work on grammar and vocabulary. After the course you will receive a certificate of VU-NT2 stating the language level you have achieved.
Practical Information

- Duration: one lesson per week of 2.5 hours for 16 weeks
