The two-year international programme master Cardiovascular Research started in 2009 and aims to educate talented students who are willing to be educated as top scientists in Clinical Life Sciences.
The programme consists of two tracks:
- Imaging and Personalized Medicine (VU)
- Cardiovascular Sciences (UvA)
Track Imaging and Personalized Medicine (VU):
This track is focussing on different aspects of clinical research, imaging and personalized medicine necessary to set up and carry out scientific research. In addition to knowledge about different research methods and the use of measuring instruments, the most important statistical techniques needed for data analysis and biobusiness are discussed.
Track Cardiovascular Sciences (UvA):
The Cardiovascular Sciences Track at the UvA focuses on the fundamental biological and biophysical aspects of cardiovascular physiology and pathophysiology, and the various analytical techniques used in research.
Students interested in this track are referred to the website of the Cardiovascular Sciences track of the Biomedical Sciences Master’s programme at the University of Amsterdam.
