In this course you will not only attend lectures that cover the many aspects of the climate challenge and its solutions, but also carry out debating assignments.
In the lectures we will cover the different sides of the climate challenge, ranging from the science of the earth system to the societal and economic implications, from the politics to the controversies. Each lecture is given by a different, renowned expert in the field from different departments.
You will form teams to write a short essay and delve into the heart of one of the many active debates reflecting the complexity of the climate challenge. You will also present and debate your findings.
