VU EdTech Day 2023

Digital teaching tools are here to stay. And these developments continue. At the VU EdTech Day on 13 April 2023, you could get an insight into many educational tools to improve your teaching in just one day. These are tools that have proven their worth as well as those of the near future. This VU EdTech Day 2023 was a first!

In the morning, there was an entirely online programme with parallel sessions or a visit to the Pop-up studio of the VU Education Lab. Then everyone had lunch from 12:00-13:00. After that, the on-campus programme started in the NU-building, including three rounds of parallel sessions.

Keynote: Crowdsourcing ideas for the future of education - dr. Amanda Porter (SBE)
A crowd-based collaborative approach for developing ideas into novel services and products is becoming the new standard by which business and social organizations determine their own future and offerings. Dr. Amanda Porter of the KIN Center for Digital Innovation talked about this topic and the current SBE-VU Education Lab efforts to pilot with this concept. Amanda shared her current experiences with the ImpactLab and outlook for further use at VU Amsterdam. View the presentation!

The workshop presentations of those who have made their presentations available can now be found under the corresponding workshops below.
