Concentration spots

You will find quiet places on the 1st, 3rd, 6th, 8th, 12th, 13th and 14th floor of the VU Main building.

Study places for online lectures

In case you have an online lecture before or after a physical lecture on campus there are additional study areas to join the online lecture. Extra study facilities are available for this purpose on the sixth floor of the WN building, both silent and interactive areas. These places are not intended for regular study activities.

Inspiration places

You can go to the 2nd floor if you prefer to study in a more informal atmosphere. Be inspired by art, plants and heritage or inspire someone else by leaving an exchange book.

You will find the open collections on the 9th and 10th floors. Here you can study in silence between the books.

PC places

PC workstations can be found on the 5th, 7th and 11th floors. The 11th floor is a quiet room.

Study places elsewhere at VU Amsterdam

You can find many more study areas scattered around the campus.

Online lectures

It is possible that you have an online course prior to or after a physical lecture. Not every student is able to follow the online lecture at home due to travel time. Therefore, on the 6th floor of the WN-building, special study places are available, both quiet rooms and interactive rooms. These spots are not meant for regular study activities.
