Université Grenoble-Alpes
The Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) is one of France's leaders in higher education and research. Enrolling about 45,000 students each year, the university offers academic programs in all disciplines, and represents a major center for research and innovation in the heart of Europe.A public university, the UGA is also committed to equality and accessibility, providing specific services to publics with special needs, such as handicapped students and personnel, international staff and students and staff, and refugees.

University of Aberdeen
The University is renowned for its world-leading research in health, energy, food and nutrition and environmental and biological sciences. The institution is also a cultural leader in the north-east, Scotland and beyond and has an outstanding track-record for arts and humanities research. With a community of students and staff covering 120 nationalities, the University of Aberdeen has a global outlook and reach.

University of Antwerp
The University of Antwerp is a young, dynamic, internationally renowned research university, with almost 22.000 students and more than 5.000 staff members in 9 faculties and various specialized institutes, ranging across all major disciplines. Internationalization of education and scientific research is seen as a key condition for achieving quality and relevance in today's globalized society. International collaboration is therefore a strategic priority for the University of Antwerp.

University of Bergen
Academic diversity and high quality are fundamental for The University of Bergen (UiB). UiB is an international research university in which all activity is based on academic freedom and curiosity-driven research. Our mission is to contribute to society through our expertise acquired through excellent research, education, dissemination of knowledge and innovation. We have three prioritized areas: marine research, global social challenges and climate and energy re-adaptation.

Universität of Duisburg-Essen
Located at the heart of the Ruhr metropolis, Universität of Duisberg-Essen is like their region: dynamic, ambitious, and ever changing. In our eleven faculties and four interdisciplinary research clusters - Nanosciences, Biomedical Sciences, Urban Systems, and Transformation of Contemporary Societies - our scientists develop ideas with a future. We deliberately interlock research and teaching as closely as we can to promote exchange of knowledge and perspectives. We embrace diversity and strongly support exchange and collaboration, both regionally - as with our neighbouring universities in the University Alliance Ruhr - and worldwide, as in the network Aurora, or with our more than 250 Erasmus partner universities.

University of East Anglia
A research-intensive university, the University of East Anglia (UEA) has 15,000 students (4,000 of them postgraduate) and 25 per cent of students are international. Specialisms range from environment and climate change, to health and nutrition, exploring issues of family and child policy, economics and business through to creative writing. The university's interdisciplinary approach, and the international reach of its research, ensures it's well placed to continue to address significant research questions and make a real impact on the world.

University of Gothenburg
37 000 students and 6 000 employees make the University of Gothenburg a large and inspiring place to work and study, with a continuous flow of new knowledge and ideas. The University contributes to solutions to major societal problems. The research is at the highest international level. By being open to the outside world and by participating in public debate, the whole work of the University influences and contributes to the development of society.

University of Iceland
The University of Iceland, founded in 1911, is a progressive comprehensive research university, situated in the heart of Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Great emphasis is placed on strengthening research and educating young people, preparing them for taking an active part in society as well as making their mark on the global community. Dynamic and extensive collaboration with research institutions and industry is an important factor in the University's operations.
