Visitors to VU (who have no VUnetID) can use the ‘guest’ wireless internet with a temporary log-in account. These accounts are created for a maximum of four weeks. Visitors from an institution that is affiliated to eduroam are advised to use the eduroam network (see eduroam).
Please note: applications for a temporary log-in account for wireless internet must be submitted by a VU employee or student organization.
Wireless internet is available from the VU campus and the following non-VU campus locations:
- VU-Uilenstede (Bavinck house and Atria)
- Griffioen Cultural Centre
- VU Sports Centre
- Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam
Visitors are issued with instructions for using this network when given their log-in details.
